EMPORIO ARMANI

Canadian Analog Collage Artist Collaborates with Emporio Armani to Celebrate the Italian Fashion House’s 40th Anniversary

About the Project:

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Emporio Armani, Maxwell N. Burnstein was tasked with interpreting the storied fashion brand’s past and future through creating a series of collages that demonstrate how the Italian fashion house has maintained its heritage while embodying metropolitan living.

Drawing inspiration from Mr. Armani’s views on experimentative forms of communication help guide the esteemed artist’s creative process, and played a role in how he chose to honor the brand with masterful collages that are set to be displayed on the W1 Screens along Oxford Street in London, England. By blending Mr. Armani’s love for creating a world imbued with eclecticism, the content harmoniously blends modern architecture, historical artifacts and art from both England, and Italy.

This body of work marks 40 years of Mr. Armani and the legacy he has built with Emporio Armani through harnessing fashion as a mode to tell stories from Milan, London and abroad.
